The G.O., like our fed- eral government, is representative ot the en- tire student body through the election of its officers and representatives. With an execu- tive council assisting the president as our fed- eral cabinet does, and a committee system similar to that of our Congress, the G.O. plans, organizes, and executes all school functions. The Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Classes also have their own representative governments for the purpose of promoting the unity and spirit of their respective classes. It is through our democratic student govern- ments that every student is given an equal voice in the planning of school activities, and, on a smaller scale, the opportunity to partake in one ot our nation's greatest priv- ileges-the freedom ot democratic govern- ment.
