Quill and Scroll is an interna- tional honor society for high school newspaper reporters. It gives us the image of the per- fect high school journalist to which its members try to mold themselves. Many members of the Tide staff have met the ex- acting qualifications of the or- ganization and are members of Quill and Scroll. Their mem- bership is an indication of the excellent way in which the Tide performs its task. . The Tide reports on all school events and on other hap- penings of interest to the students. By reporting both academic and athletic events and items concerning both students and teachers, the Tide creates a realistic picture of school life.
