None of these things come easily. They are the result of exacting and difficult labor. It is unbelievable but the fight for peace is nerly as difficult as the struggle of war. It is toward this peace that we have tried in a small way to prepare you, and for which we pray you will striveg we pray that you will be citizens of the world, aware of the other fellow's problems, considerate of his feelings and helpful to those less fortunate. You have a kind of sturdy sense which tells that it will all turn out about the same anyway, As individuals, we have perhaps very little influence on the course of events. But this is not true regarding our own lives, and ourselves. Here, we are master. With quietness and courage we can conquer any threat, and we can attain any real desire. Facult T is dangerous to satirize teachers. It is not right to simply praise them. Nor is it correct to describe them sketchily. The faculty has been as much a part of our four high school years as any basketball game, square dance or operetta. Therefore we would like to relax and write about our teachers without any set pattern, just their name and the memories that name recalls to us.
