On all three levels, the girls were able to post winning records In fact in conference play, the Lone Tree teams combined to post a record of 20-8 It was a year in which the conference title was in reach but not attainable The Lionettes were not successful in their big matches , two with Columbus and one with L-M, and this made the difference in the season being good not great The highlight of the season was the classic battle with the L-M Falcons. The girls fought hard but came up short in the end winning two of the three matches. The successful season provided much excitement for the players, coach, and fans.
