DIARY OF A YEARBOOK Top- 'Smilc , says the group picture taker, as he takes some lucky group picture. Bottom-The editor’s ladder being developed. Did you find yourself with nothing to do this schoolyear? Nothing to oc- cupy your spare time? You should have joined Annual Staff and had some of the fun the members had. Not that Annual Staff is always fun, but for all the work that goes into it, there is an equal amount of fun that results from it. What follows is the diary of our yearbook: AUGUST 16, 1977-First day of school and the editor, Lisa Werbach, brings the ladder, the order of pages for the yearbook. Photographers start- ed obtaining pictures for the yearbook. SEP. 2- Individual pictures taken. SEP. 3-The cheerful seniors sell ads. SEP. 13-Annual members practice layouts. OCT3-20-Participants in annual staff paste up ads. OCT. 21-Mailed the finished ads to the company. OCT. 24-NOV. 18-Drew up and mail- ed class pages. NOV. 2-Selected this year’s yearbook cover. NOV. 14-18-Sold yearbooks. NOV. 21-DEC. 22-Worked on practice layouts. DEC. 1-Mailed in number of books and names of those to be personalized. DEC. 22-Mailed in more layouts. JAN. 3-20, 1978-Wrote copy and developed feature layouts. JAN. 11 —Group photos, that everyone enjoyed so much. JAN. 20-Mailed feature layouts JAN 23-FEB. 1-Mailed group pictures, what a job identifying all those people! FEB 2-15 Completed sports layout and mailed in the rest of the pages. We’re done! MAY 1978-We’U see how it all turned out.
