It was actually his daughter (Deanna Nicholson) who revealed to the police his plans in order to keep him from leading a life of crime. Between his daughter, his wife (Lu Ann Coan) and assorted extras they did a good job of keeping him out of trouble. The plot unfolded in the outdoor cafe of a health resort complete with two incompetent cops (Dallas Simmons and Bill Smith) and a ho- tel detective (Jeff Musser) who had enough trou- ble keeping themselves straight, let alone anyone else. Unexpected family members and other weird characters kept popping up throughout the play. As predicted, Deanna with the help of her mother and the cops-kept Colonel Swillwell out of trouble. This year’s cast put forth a lot of work on the play and it must have paid off, because the audience seemed to enjoy it. 29

The Pep Band provided half-time music for basketball games and led pep rallys, while the stage band was busy with the variety show. They have provided us with alot of good music this year with special thanks to Mr. Lynn Grulke. 30
