The KEYS program was started last year by Kirkwood Community College to give seniors a skill so they might be employed right after graduation. The classes offered include Auto Mechanics, Data-processing, Nurses Aid Train- ing, Horticulture, Electronics, and Welding. Data-processing, and Nurses Aid Train- ing are offered one semester, and the others are for a full year. Participation at LTHS has been very good. This year we had nineteen seniors en- rolled in these classes. Every afternoon the group climbed on the bus and rode to Iowa City for two hours of class.
