Together, as a class, we can make it through one more year. After gradua- tion, we will all go our separate ways and live our lives. Well, we made it. The class of 1990 has finally completed their freshman year. A year of getting picked on, and pushed around. Well, we aren't go- ing to be the little guys anymore. We have three great years to look forward to. Three years that are going to be the BEST years of our lives. Why? Because we have a GREAT class. And if we stick together, and show lots of school spirit and en- thusiasm, we can make every year at Londonderry High School a success. - Tina Goumas Freshman Class President First Row, Vanessa Edwards, Treas,, Liz O'Brien, Sec, Shannon Church, Vice Pres., Tina Goumas, Pres. The students of LHS want to dedicate the 1986-1987 yearbook to Mr. Sheehan thanking him for his caring and understanding. Mr. Sheehan always knew that he wanted to be a teacher, and has been reaching for the past fourteen years. He attended Boston State as well as several other respected schools. He became a teacher because of his love for teaching and history. When asked what area of his job he likes best and why, he replied, The kids, because association with kids keeps you young. In addition to teaching, Mr. Sheehan also coaches football and basketball here at Londonderry. I coach because I played and competed as a young man and now I compete as a coach. Mr. Sheehan is so well liked because he takes the time to get involved with more than just the academic lives of his students. He has the unique ability to treat his students as friends and also receive their respect at the same time. 1 10 Faculty E T fn Z '14-9 l half , .i i SUBSTITUTE TEACHEIQS . . . sul3sTl 'I fl J1 Zll CDV b I I4 20 21 27 28 Z I D bb C Kathy Flood Rick Heuslein 'T his is our special duty, that UP anyone specially needs our help, we should give him such help to the ut- most of our power. - Cicero P-n CG I. The true dedica- tion can be seen when the numerous crowds from Londonderry show up at a game to cheer on their team. Here at Londonderry the true spirit of our fans and the striving dedication of our athletes has once again proven to be a successful pair. These pages in this section are dedicated to these very important peo- ple. This page in particular is dedicated to the LHS coaches. Without their support and dedication we would not have successful teams. Our coaches train us in sports and for life after high school. They teach us how to play fair, take defeat and experience the thrill of vic- tory. We can all agree that LHS coaches care about every one of their players and are truly dedicated to their teams. Well, this year has come to a close, and the production of Reflections 1987 has finally come to an end. As director of this year's biggest production, l'd like to give special thanks to the producers Ms. Carolyn Ferguson and Ms. Kelly Norrid for all your advice and time, the actresses Cindy Paltan, Michelle Soucy, Renee Follo, jennifer Milioto, Karin Fortin, and Kathy Mc- is l Cartin for your imaginative ideas and for making all the deadlines. 1'd also Kathy McCartin like to thank the supporting cast consisting ofjennifer Lapham, Laura Cox, Faculty Tamara Rentz, jean Colburn, jackie Moore, Chris Shackford, Tom Mar- tineau, Kris Traver, Angie Rogers, jen Crowe, Karen Sigalos, Marissa Collet- ta, Chris Cortese, jim Poitras, Charlene Cortese, Chuck Purwin, Kathy Aubin, Maradith Markham, Geoff Cardener, Mary Elaine Radel, Michelle Beaulieu, Lynne Estey, jeff Ludlam, Gene Vallente, jason Donnelly, joe Y Lynch, and Derek Licciardi for the hours and the effort you put in, and Doug Green, director of cameras, and his staff of photographers, Glen Walton, jim Poitras, Chuck Purwin, Angie Rogers, Charlene Cortese, Heather MacPhear- son, and Nancy Bryson. Finally, I'd like to thank you, the students and staff, who made producing this possible, On a parting note to the members of the Class of 1987, whether you're a gf box office smash or just smash boxes in offices, always reach for the stars. Karen Matuszewski Editor-In-Chief Jennifer Milioto Ads AdViS0l No 8 If an oscar was awarded for outstanding performance in yearbook production, the 1987 Reflections staff would be the recipient. Long hours, dedication and diligence by themselves don't guarantee an authentic, creative and entertaining production. just as in the movies, talent, energy, innovation and unity are also necessary to turn a good script and photography into a spectacular work of art that will stand the test of time, The 1987 editors led this year's staffin creating a book far superior to previous years. Their commitment to excellence has made this year enjoyable and rewarding, Their concerted effort is more than commen- dable, in my eyes they are award winning. l Kelly Norrid Editors Page 195 ' .1 ,, 5, K3 xg 1 V' 'A Lal-'1?Y'L if1'f: N1 N fm 34:1 .,Lx Qijwfiw X,,l,Y, Qu., h ma.
