MUSIC Public School Music was offered as an accredited course for thc first time in our school. The course offcrs a study of Theory, Harmony, Vocal Study, Musical Form and Nlusical Literature.

SPEECH All the world's a stage - as the Speech students of 1950 had occasion to leam. During the school year these students participated in the One-Act Play Contest, Senior Play, Declamation, programs sponsored by the Lions' Club. the Parent-Teachers Associ- ation, and other civic clubs. One project of the speech course was a unit on make- up, where each student studied the character type which he portrayed in the class play.
