As compared to the previous camps this one surely surpassed them all rn accomplishments as well V as enioyments. Frshing swxrnming and good meals made up a major part of the program as well as the first call for practice at 5:45 in the mornmg and 3:00 rn the afternoon. Twelve days were immensely emoyed by the boys and the coaches as well as Mr. Garner who wants to go back and try to catch some fish as large as Coach Moore caught. Closmq the early fall training with an mtrassquad game the members of the encampment started for the piney woods of deep East Texas to take up some serrous study and a rough football schedule. The season was considered a great one for the boys as well as the rooters and followers of the team. Shortage of material was a handicap to the coaches: nevertheless, the best efforts were obtained from the faithful ones who participated. l ., . . 1 r some of the lqrgestmeievenelklt State.
