The theme of the evening was Mature in Christ , and from the decorations to the message this one emphasis was made The challenging message was given by Dr. Howard F. Sugden, X formerly of London. The graduating class was especially exhorted to strive for maturity in Christ. 1 The special music, presented by the Johnson Sisters Trio, ' made this eventful evening complete. ,gg , - . This is one of the closing activities of our school year. The picnic was under the sponsorship of the Class of '60 who chose for the theme, Harvest from the land and sea . Nets with paper fish, decorative golden bundles of wheat, and students dressed in native costumes of many lands greeted the school family as they arrived at Pinafore Park in St. Thomas. ? What would a picnic be like without games? As the day was overcast, Will Wills, the sports director for the class, kept most of the well planned games indoors under the pavillion. After many games, a tired faculty and student body were called to supper. fl The day ended as the guest speaker, Alan Macleod an alum- nus of the school, gave a brief message on the harvest that awaits workers across the world.
