L.B.I. 8. T.S. ALLOWAY MEN'S RESIDENCE HARTILL HALL THE WIND O gentle wind - You are passing through. Your quiet rocking of the leaves ls silhouetted 'gainst the blue Unending deepness of the sky! Leaves sway and toss, then madly dash To hide from you as on you pass O playful wind - Then all is calmp leaves droop with inactivity, A little rest you give the trees Before your mischievous child called Breeze Catches again the swirling bows To plunge them in confusion O reckless wind - Then with your 'greatest power You howl and screamg roaring And tearing the branches with your teeth ln relentless fury: O dauntless wind - I wonder, have you ever thought That all your might has failed to rock Yon time scarred tree trunk? God's home-made towerp it stands and mocks you JOYCE Wll-I-IAMS O defeated wind. Class '58

CHRISTMAS CONCERT stan Do you think that Messiah will come during our lifetime, father? . . l wish He would come soon so I could tell the Rabbis how wrong they have been. , Do you suppose Messiah will come through them? Such were some of the phrases of the Christmas Concert presented this year. The play was written from a Jewish point and portrayed Simeon and his family eagerly looking for the coming of the Messiah. Then upon His arrival with eagerness they worshipped Him. The number in the class presenting the play was small but the Lord was truly with them through it all. Because we 'felt His presence so near, we were assured that through the presentation Jesus Christ was honoured and glorified. Praise His Name!
