ABSENT: David Fisman. 1985-86 was a triumphant year for the members of Central ' s team on REACH FOR THE TOP. Gerard Stocker. Pat Hodgson, Chris Jackson and David Fisman, supported by Henry Song and Frank Seglenieks showed their mental prowess by defeating several other schools in the elimination rounds. By winning the agonizingly tight match against Oakridge S.S., the team was bitted against Waterloo- Oxford S.S., which was the second- placed team in the provincial competition. But Central fought furiously to become the South Western Regional Champions. Unfortunately this is the highest level of competition available this year. The boys brought acclaim and honour to the school and each received an $1100.00 entrance scholarship to the University of Western Ontario. Congratulations to them on this superb achievement.
