;m It ' s June 23 and the final copy of tfiis yearbook is being assembled for submission to the publisher, WOW! What a job this has been. It was a task that almost did not get started due to the lack of yearbook sales in the Fall. However, you placed the orders and I hope you enioy your yearbook. I extend my thanks and yours to all the members of the yearbook committee for the work they did A special thank-you is extended to Dave Vermue, who at a point when willing and suitable talent was lacking jumped at the opportunity and became my assistant editor Thanks Dave. Ivliss Grimbleby also deserves a word of praise. She spent many hours starring at the green screen on the computer as she typed the grad write-ups . It has been said that a yearbook is a partial record of all that has happened at Central throughout a school year . In future years, when you are flipping through the pages of this yearbook. I hope it brings back many fond memories. For next year, the plan is to have the cost of the yearbook included in the student activity fee. This is a great idea as now more students will have a yearbook to en|oy. To those graduating students, good luck in your future endeavors and may you suc- ceed at whatever you do. This has been a fantastic year, I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Yes you can enjoy school I also enjoyed putting this yearbook together for you. And remember, High School years are the greatest days of your life , , , so far. Editor

Wow eh ' Another year, another addition of Glimpses a fine publication depicting the true reality of Central life for the past two terms • the good, the bad, the ugly. I have been fortunate enough to have been able to assist this year in bringing about Glimpses ' 86. From what I ' ve seen , believe me, each one of you Centralities are great! (Teacher too ). We have more intelligent, creative, stylish, kool people here than at any other High School for miles. Personally there are many events that I will remember from this year past. To recall a few, how about the senior football ghosts ' professional playing, Mr. Fenwick being locked up in jail, a road hockey tournament where if you survived you were lucky, Kasey ' s and Brent ' s wild parties that kept London ' s boys in blue busy. Van Halen ' s air guitar ex- plosiveness, and of course that wonderful campaign I had running for president. Tal ( How about a massage ) Leyshon could be the next Steven Spielburg. With such a neat movie he filmed, look out Hollywood! On a somber note I bid all of you who have escaped Central, moving on to greener pastures, the best of luck in your new INSTITUTIONS. Those of you like me who are returning next year, well . . .? Only ten months ' till summer. Lastly some advice from the immortal David Letterman: Those who can do. Those who can ' t - get drunk. Live long and prosper. your friend -SPOOK (Dave) P.S. The Leafs will never win the Stanley Cup. Sorry Mr. Sargeant. 110
