This institute is the place the person who thought up the word cosmopolitan probably had in mind. The staff and students are diverse in background, dress, manner and dreams (future, that is). This makes it both a joy and a hardship to be Student ' s Council President. The individuals provide a vast variety ot talents and ideas - yet this same diversity makes it difficult to bring the student body together as a whole. Realizing this, the Student ' s Council attempted to tailor events accordingly (whatever that means). The members ot the Council worked very hard and otten overstepped, no - EXCEEDED their expected duties. They deserve a lot of credit and praise. Central achieved an excellent reputation in London in 1982-83. Help maintain this level in the future. Finally, happy perusal of this, your Yearbook. Keep passing the open windows. Executive FRONT ROW: Scott Stafford, Mark McManus, Michael Wright, Donald Kudo. BACK ROW: Leslea Gordon, Sue Kendall, Mary Bere.

A Message from Our Principal A yearbook is a valuable acquisition. It will bring back so very many happy and pleasant memories, and perhaps some poignant memories, of old friends and acquaintances. The preparation of this book has been a huge task very ably ac- complished by the hard work of the yearbook staff. The editors, Karen Eck and Meg Gaily, have done a magnificent job assisted by many others and their staff advisor Mr. Demaray. This year the school grew con- siderably in size and the spirit has never been better. Our students, staff and the community have given a tremendous force to our activities. Not the least of these is the gaining of three city championships in one week. A great deal of this is due to the efforts of our graduating class and the student leaders. I offer my thanks to the graduating students for your efforts during your years in the school. May good fortune go with you in your futures. And Vice-Principal As you look through this yearbook, now and in years to come, you will be reminded of your friends, acquain- tances and the happy times you had at Central. It also reflects the people and events that made this year an especially memorable one at Central. The increase in the size of the student body and the addition of new courses has enriched the school. The able leadership of the student organization, the dedicated help of the staff and the support of the parents has made the school year very suc- cessful. From student art work hung in the halls to championship teams we have gained a pride and satisfaction that has nourished the vitality and spirit of the school. The yearbook editors, staff and advisors are to be congratulated on producing a fine yearbook. Since they started last summer, Meg and Karen have put many hours and a great deal of work into the yearbook. Your efforts are appreciated. To the graduates, I would like to offer my thanks for your contribution during your years at Central. All my best to you in the future.
