CLUBS The clubs at Central play an intricate part in the day to day life of many students. These clubs also support and add immeasurable enjoyment to our high school days. The Key Club, though only in its first year, managed to replace the school banner and enhance the stands of Carruther ' s field with the traditional purple and gold. The Computer Club has grown with the addition of a number of computers and even produced our own Shazam, alias Mr. Cowx. Many clubs which have been running over the past few years, continued suc- cessfully. The language clubs enjoyed international meals; the war games players saved the world while the science fiction club battled extraterrestrial in- vaders, and the debating club prepared for political confrontations. A special thank-you to the camera club who have managed to provide many memories for this yearbook. The clubs range from a school news magazine to Christian fellowship. They involve a large portion of the student body and help to make these the best days of our lives, so far . . .
