John Richard Abel, a man who feels that he has much In common with Kermit the Frog, is Math Department Head. In his two years at Central, he has run the Choir along with Mrs. Simonsen. If not a teacher, Mr. Abel hints that he ' d probably be retired. Richard Bubbles Blosdale is an agitated individual who indentifies, nevertheless, with Loni Anderson. A 24 year-old at heart, he would be an engineer if not a teacher. This is a year of homecoming for Dick, who attended Central as a student. Welcome back! Colin Chick Chisholm is one veteran yearbook staff advisor who is relieved that his involvement in this capacity ends this year. Mr. Chisholm will have more time to pursue his outside interests, which include bowling, cigars, and American football. Charlie Cunningham is an en- tertainingly shrewd, demanding Head of Moderns. It seems that his no-nonsense approach works when he ' s coaching Football as well, as evidenced by the relative success of the Juniorteam. Barbara Dalrymple, in her 5th year at Central, is known for her frequent cry of Stop talking and start typing! Mrs. Dalrymple is perturbed by students who don ' t have their own typing paper. No wonder her secret ambition is to retire! A person of electric construct is Mr. Demaray, guru of the Resource Centre. In this, his second year here, Mr. D has organized the Rock Hound Club. He and his dedicated troupe have explored and collected, and maintain several mineral displays for the neophyte majority. Mr. Fryday is unfortunately leaving after one year at Central in which he contributed his skills and personality as both a teacher and staff advisor for the Hockey team, and Christian Fellowship Club. We wish him further success as he assumes the position of Depart- ment Head of Geography at Laurier. Mr. Gawley, in his initial and final year here, captivated his classes with his wit and use of practical examp les, ie. students, to enlighten his charges. His contribution to the athletic scene was made as Bad- minton coach. His untimely leaving is lamentable.
