Consecrated to his from God, he never lost sight of his responsibi, As president of the Ministerial Club and as Cl? man of Evangelism, of Religious Council, he di magnificent job. Henry's talent in dramatics long be remembered as well as his musical abil he was a member of the Alexander Sin ers an the boys' quartet. We know he will ie used God in a mighty way. Harry Kiely, Gentleman: that can be said Harry always. He was an excellent student year, a most proficient leader on the campus. his contribution to the religious work and his acti' in Masque and Wig he made for himself an envi place. He did his share in making ticket sale the basketball games go over. We say hats of an all ,round student! We are glad that he will back next year. Betty -the girl We all believe in. Her fine le ership as president of Masque and Wig will longs remembered. Her acting merited state-wide claim. We shall never forget those mornings B led in Morning Watch. Phi Theta Kappians vj proud to call her one of them, and Lon Morris proud to ever own her as one of its finest. Nelda Millioifs talents cover a wide range -3 include singing, piano playing, religious w pianist for Religious Council, and not least of all any means, being an excellent and cooperative s dent. But combined with all these achieveme are her winsome ways, gracious manners and g looks. Truly God has been rich in His blessings this fine young lady, and we have learned to exp much of her. Up from the island of Puerto Rico came anotl of those championship-makers, and this is Albe Renta in his second year of outstanding playii He is a friendly, sincere young man well liked all. He was co-captain of the Basketball Team, a was chosen at Bryan as one of the members of if All-State junior College Team. He is a truly 1 operative and hardworking player, and his rea wit is enjoyed by all. He made quite a by-word his laughing Wha, happenfy, May you always on a championship team in whatever you do! T wi... Lon Morris has seldom had a student of the bril- iance of mind, sincerity, friendliness and devotion o God that we find in James Wagener. He has led Ei the religious life on the campus, has been an out- anding member of the choral groups, has served s an officer in Phi Theta Kappa, Religious Council, he Choir, and numerous other activities, and has teen an English assistant. He was on the Annual taff, sang on countless radio programs, went on fel- xwshi groups to various towns, and has helped oth the school and his fellow students in many fays, but still maintained his excellent scholastic ecord. The world needs more young men like ames - Doc as we all know him. Charlotte Acker, ever since her days as Mascot of Iasque and Wig, has been a real art of Lon Mor- s, and we have all looked forward, to the day when re would be a student here. She has not disap- ointed us. Her charm and beauty and character ave been only a few of the qualities that endear her 1 everyone. She has been one of our Cheer Leaders mis year, has taken part in the Choir, in Masque and 7 ig, in Religious Council, Club work, and the l. Y. F. She is always ready to help with a radio 'ogram, a play, a speech, or any other task she is Llled upon to do. This quiet, reserved, handsome fellow with the tilliant mind is Wayne Odom - and his record here an enviable one. Being of a family that has long entified itself with the best of Lon Morris, Wayne is simply carried on in a splendid tradition and e are proud to number him among the students is year and prouder still to include him among the 'ho's Who. I. R. Patterson was a worthy successor to his big other Robert, to us Patty. In fact, he out-Pattied ttty, to misquote Shakespeare. He did outstand- acting as Johnny Appleseed, and his solo part on E threesome Comedy Team was ever perennial. He is a member of the religious organizations and s a member of the Alexander Singers. To say fl. is talented is understating the case. jean Officer is the essence of music. She served mst proficiently as accompanist for the Alexander lgers. She was active in the religious organiza- lns, ever faithful to them. jean was one of our tstanding students scholastically. Always lovely, vays reticent just enough, she charmed us all. ld not least of her charm was her beauty of coun- iance. We are expecting great things of you ,xt year, Iean. You'll make a wonderful senior! l Who's who Vivacious Pat Cook has charmed us all year with her ready wit, her friendliness, and her willingness to serve in a multitude of activities around the campus, including being on the comedy team, a cheer leader, an active member of Masque and Wig, and many other activities. She is an excellent stu- dent, too, and in spite of her other extra curricular work, always manages to stay among the highest ranking students in scholarship. A Chloe Enda Mitchell is another outstanding Lon Morris girl - one we like to think of as representing our ideal type of student. She is a talented musi- cian, being both a singer and a pianist, and has the distinction of having the greatest number of grade points of any student in school, and all this at only sixteen. She has done faithful service in the Choir and on the radio, her charm, friendliness, character and friendship endear her to all the teachers and students of Lon Morris. Ioe Kirkland will long be remembered as our outstanding soloist for two years, and for his charac- terization of the angel in Iohnny Appleseed. But back of that is something more important, his ready willingness to respond to any call placed upon his time and talents by the college. He is the soloist for the choir and has taken part in innumerable radio programs, both in English and F rench, has rendered excellent service as choir leader of Reli- gious Council, and is always sincere and conscien- tious in his studies. Although quiet and somewhat shy, he has a ready wit, and is one of the best liked boys on the campus. Bennie and the Comedy Team are synon mous. She helped break a record for L. M. C.s traditional Comedy Team. She will always be remembered for her dramatic ability. Her activities in Delta Psi Omega and Masque and Wig were signal. The girl who had a most wholesome influence upon her fellow students was Relta Mae Buffing- ton. Her unassuming manner, her sincerity, her understanding made her loved by all. She was a leader in the religious life of the campus, having been president of M.Y.F., and an officer in Re- ligious Council. Her high grades made her a mem- ber of Phi Theta Kappa.
