Patty Terrones tries her luck at ring toss. 'aan ',.u -.Q 1 .W Carnival Doin' Their Thing Excitement and fun filled the air on the night of the 1971-'72 Spartan Carnival! Ntunerous students, faculty and parents were married in the wedding booth, had their futures told by gypsies, and carried off prizes from such games as ring toss, dart throw, penny pitch and others. At the same time, the LJHS Keystone Cops were on their toes arresting people who could either take a sentence of five minutes or pay the bribe-fee of one ticket to escape. The booths were constructed and run by differ ent LI HS clubs who benefitted from the Carnival. All in all, Spartans felt that this year's carni- val was more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Left: Eric Belle and Cynthia Spencer really en- joy themselves at the carnival. Above: Is this a frightened seventh grader or just a Carnival decoration?
