Many features of school work were improved and stimulated hy the pressure of war needs and prospect of participation in comhat or other war activities. Our so called extra curricular activities, however, suffer in this emergency, and so we are happy to present La l'urisima of '44 as one student activity which continues as usual. .N study of what it contains and also what i1 omits will gi-.vc former students and friends of the high school a picture of what high school life in war time is like.
