It has been explained to us through numerous theories and facts that our environment is the fundamental building block of our personality. In this manner Mr. Alger is truly a builder of character. We have been taught in an environ- ment of caring and understanding. His help and influence has not been restricted to the class- room but has flowed through into all aspects of our life. The Arimol staff would like to thank Mr. Alger for his dedication to the yearbook which he has been a large factor in creating for so many years. We will notice the absence of Mr. Alger in our lives, but we wish him the best of luck in his future plans. 3 IN MEMORY OF MICHAEL E. We hope these pages are filled with your fondest memories from this year’s events and activities. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to this year's staff for the many hours of hard work. A special thanks to both Mr. Alger and Mrs. Wolf. The photographers were also a major part of this year’s staff. Many thanks to them for the quality pictures and extra hours of work they put in to make this year’s book complete. As we approach this year's World Games we see our undefeated wrestling squad coached by ERIC ANDER- SON. He is assisted by MIKE BROWN and JOHN WOLLITZ. Another team at the World Games is the Lomira High Volleyball team coached by LISA LA VARDA, assisted by MARY BALL. On our tour of the world we stop in England where Admiral TIM SCHAUER, General TIM PLZAK of the Air Force and his assistant JACKIE PETRI are meeting to decide how to entertain the troops in Iceland. They decided to call DEBBIE GASPER, famous pop singer, and the trumpet quartet of ROB GUAY, MARK YOUNG, TODD SCHEBERL and GEORGE REICHERT. Continuing on our tour of Europe we stop in France where we see famous race car drivers ANDY RODRIGUEZ, KEVIN WONDRASH, and TERRY GASSNER competing for the 1990 Grand Prix. Helping Kevin, Andy, and Terry in the pits are mechanics BOB LOEHRKE, TIM VIS, BOB BECK, and CHET GIESE. One driver will not be competing in the Grand Prix because of an unfortunate accident. STEVE COULTER is confined to the hospital where he is being nursed by SANDY BATZLER. Also working at the hosital is KAREN BEISTLE as the operating room assistant, and LAURIE WALDRON and MAUREEN SCHNEIDER as ward clerks. Back in the United States, we find a new addition again being added to the school. Designing the new buildings are engineers and architects, JOAN PAUL, CHUCK SAUDER, and LAWERENCE WILHELM. Taking care of the construction is DENNIS HANKE of Hanke Sons Construction. HENRY SCHNITZLER is chief carpenter with DAVID PAMPERIN, TERRY HERMAN, and KELLY SELTRECHT helping him. Chief electricians are PAT WIESE and KEITH MOLDENHAUER. Taking care of the financial end of the buildings are accountants KRIS NEITZEL, PATTI KEHL, DEB SCHAEFER and DEAN LACKAS. Providing the building materials is Kindt Building Products- where BRENDA WAAS is head cashier with LYNETTE BLANK, DEBBIE GIESE and CHRIS KORNFEHL assisting her. Doing the advertising for the new school is Peter’s Advertising Headed by CHUCK PETERS. His artists are KAREN PALOF and CLARA SIMON. Also working for Chuck is CLARE PABLE as secretary and JOE MICHELS as business manager. Teaching at the new educational center will be STEVE ENGMANN, agriculture, JUDY STERR, computer technology, DEBBIE ADELMEYER, art and JULIE MICHAELS, child care. A new field offered at Lomira will be horse training headed by BARB HESPRICH and JULIA JOHNSON. President TIM MICHELS of Michels Pipeline has just named a new Vice-President-GARY JOHNSON. Tim’s secretary MELINDA STERR and Business Manager MARISA REIMER have just informed Tim that the new computer department will be headed by former classmates ANN SCHAEFER AND LINDA BAUER. Foreman, JOEL SCHULTZ reports the hiring of 2 new employees, TONY DEL PONTE and JOE WEININGER. Heading for the altar are DAWN KEHL, BONNIE WEICHELT and SANDY HANKS. Doing their hair will be JANICE EMMER and TODD STUCKE. Providing the rings will be KRIS SOSINSKI of Sosinski Jeweler’s. Manager for Kris is YVONNE CHRISTIAN with LORI BATTISTINE and KELLY KREMER designing the rings. Now running the Club 49 is RANDY BRINKMAN. Hostess for Randy is ANNE SERWE. Providing the food for Randy is farmers, TIMM CURTIS, JULIE MUSACK, and DAN HESPRICH. Chief cook for Randy is THERESA KLATT and main bartender is ALEX PRESIGEN. Providing Randy with cheese is MIKE MARESSE of Maresse Chees. A surprise note, at a recent Moochcock meeting — STEVE DITTBERNER was elected president with JOHN SCHULTZ as vice-president. Elected secretary was MARGO KLINK. Other members of the Moochcock’s Club are KARL HUBER, LORI CASPER, DELLA GUNDERSON, CRAIG HILT, STAN GIESE, LORETTA WILHELM, ROSE ANDERSON, and JAY KISSEL. 32 Other members of the Class of ’80 competing for a title are GLENN SELLNOW and STEVE SCHARSCHMIDT. They are participating in the World Chess Championship. Cheering Gleen and Steve on are LINDA JUSTMAN and SUE PRIESIGEN. Helping the world fight against poachers are wildlife managers. TEDD JACOBSON and MARY PLZAK. Also helping fight against forest fires are JOE KESO and RENE RODRIGUEZ. I have found the members of the class doing many things, but I have to end this report on a sad note, our most famous news broadcaster, PAUL “WALTER” SCHMIDT has given up his job and decided to become a professional bum. 33 ACTIVITIES LHS television O o o O Cont. r ast hot i z.o n-t a I oe.le.ctor on off Voiuwe. s KjOlaS t v. + (LhwcJti Ll qq- + o-tX T OuAiLCra JOlmmjUi DjUj JI ■ JoX 41 STUDENT LIFE Now what.
