DEDICATION Past: When we as Seniors think of the past, one phrase that usually enters our minds is; as time goes slowly, yet carries on, now the best years have come and gone; they took us by surprise; we didn't realize they were passing ... The time has come to say to our classmates, hey remember when we . . . As students come and go from the Lions halls there will always be fond memories of building your first float and three more to follow, hops that not too many people seemed to dance at, noon hours with music from the juke box and bouncing basketballs, homecomings and proms, classes, ball games, matches and meets, blue Mondays followed by happy Fridays, holiday vacations, classmates, teachers and that high school love But that was yesterday, what of today. Present: Now we've come to the point when freshmen go on to be sophomores, sophomores go on to be juniors and start their thoughts on prom, juniors go on to be Seniors, worrying about their homecoming, aduation and class trip, and Seniors go on to become, to become what? What will we be; adults, college und, job hunting, service rendering? That's exactly what we'll be. For the past four years parents, teach- ers and friends have tried to mold our character to be able to accept what lies ahead. And that ahead is here for us to grasp onto now. What we latch onto now will determine the future. So at the present our only hope is to take the right path for tomorrow. Future: If we go on to take the right paths maybe then we will truly come to understand why the past was as it was. Hopefully we will understand why the present became the past. And maybe we can go further to understand You progress not through improving what has been done, but reaching toward what has yet to be done. (Kahlil Gibran)
