Summer life . . . bumming around with friends, swimming at France Park, getting a tan, sleeping, working, or going to a favorite hangout. Summer . . . an awaited dream for many Logansport students as the school year ended May 31, 1979. Adjusting to a different routine, graduates looked forward to their new way of life, while underclassmen did everything they could in those three short months. Some found part-time jobsg others attended summer school, while the rest just enjoyed the freedom away from school.
