Scotland is Fantasy setting Two Americans wandered into an idyllic village where loyal clans- men lived and loved one day each hundred years. One hunter grew to love a Scottish lassie, who returned that love, The day passed, Briga- doon vanished, and a dejected mor- tal left paradise. But miracles are possible in such placesg their deep love enabled him to return to Brigadoon. Making possible this unsubstan- tial world were a score of practical committees: set design, who creat- ed Scottish forestsg publicity, who arranged previews on WSAL and at the Mallg make-up and costume, who mirrored highlandersg public relations, who supervised pro- grams, ushers, hospitality.
