On the athletic field, Coach Roberts' rug- ged football team fought for the last inch of yardage in an unforgettable, nerve-rack- ing battle with an old rival, Lafayette Jeff. Whether working on club projects or wrest- ling with class assignments, we pulled to- gether, always struggling to overcome the big problems of the moment, yet always willing to lend a helping hand to others. In the frantic, determined way of youth, we accomplished the possible, and at times we even dared to attempt the impossible.
