gum: xERRlEs TIP-CFF TIME The Logan Berries, under the tutelage of a new coach. Mr. Keith Showalter. had a more successful season than the number of games won would indi- cate. They started the season with four straight wins and then during the regular season won only one more game. This was a very sweet victory, however, since it was over Jeff of Lafayette, a team that reached the finals of the state tourney. The Berries went through the sectionals fairly easily, but were defeated by an unusually strong Richland Center team in the regionals. During the regular season and tournament play the Berries continually exhibited the spirit and sportsmanship necessary to a good basketball team. With five juniors and three soph- omores returning, the Berries should be a basketball power next season. V-if 1
