You don't have to be rich to make something Worthwhile of your life, and you don't have to have any special help. You do, however, have to have the desire to succeed and the persev- erance to overcome obstacles, You all have opportunities. You may take advantage of them or you may let them slip away. It is my sincere hope that each of you will realize the opportunities you have and take full advantage of them. A Best Wishes, IA! Behind feroc- ious blocking, Parker tookthe ball over for the first TD and set the tempo of the game. A stubborn defense and over- whelming offense proved to much for the Bears. With Par- ker scoring twice more and Seago one, the victory gave the Tigers Second in District and the right to enter the State Play-offs. Newelton bounced ahead with 14 points. The Tigers' only score came in the fourth quar- ter when Parker plunged over from the two-yard line. A muddy field greatly hindered the Tigers, and on a dry field it might have been different.
