Row Rochester, Rick Wolfe, Le Roy Kiesling, Dave Loomis. Row 3: Don Williams, Mike Latshaw, Gary Kaiser, Mark Lindsay, Steve Hammes, Bill Klaus, Ken Happel, Paul Bogie, Coach Erickson. Outstanding runner, Dave Loomis. : ; ts , RUN. . .RUN. . .RUN The 1971 Cross Country team was built by determina- tion and willingness to win. They demonstrated this by bringing home four trophies and coming just inches away from representing Logan in the state meet. Dave Loomis proved to be the top runner by turning excellent times throughout the season, but it was a total team effort that gave the Harriers their balance to win. The Harriers, hold- ing down Sth and 6th spots all year, were ranked in the top ten in state ratings. Coach Erickson was honored by his team with a plaque as a token of their respect and admiration for the many hours of dedication he put into the Cross Country season.
