THE ARK IS HERE TO STAY Pride, Poise, and Execution: these words were the keys that were necessary to achieve the two goals set by the 1971 Logan Rangers. The goals set at the outset of the season were to be first: city champs, and second: conference champs. Only half of the goals were reached; a city championship was won with great honors brought to Logan. Although they failed to achieve the second goal, the Rangers made their presence known on the gridiron. The Rangers were never outhit by any of their opponents, even though lag mistakes led to close Logan losses. The Rangers of 1971 gained great respect from their rivals and the Logan Coaching Staff. 1971 was rewarding and disappointing but most of all great strides were made in building Pride, Poise, and Execution while enjoying the great game of football. 12 Winning is fun!
