She enjoys a hobby which is dif- ferent from most, collecting parocies and cartoons. Away from the clamor cf com- mercial apparatus, she travels. kn ts, and cares for plants, Many a husband has been maoe happy by the methods of this teacher. She gives some o' the girls a background in home economics. l-ter hobbies are keeping scrap books, taking pictures, and traveling. She dislikes crowds and playing bridge, Buy Defense Stamps here' t-ie sells them and takes charge of the bookkeeping at Logan. As one of the officers of the Parent Teachers Organization, our parents hear him give the treasurer's repo't. He finds enjoyment in reading, motoring, and hurting It is he who has developed oatcn twirling in our school, As the head of the Vocational Basketball League he provides wholesome exercise far alumni and other young men of the community. He is also the able coach of the Logan Golf Team. She regards the making and drinking of coffee as two cf her off the record specialties. She also enjoys needle-work and a black purring animal, who answers ta the name Dixie Co-advisor of the senior home- room and instructor of commencement speakers, she is often heard expounding the writings of Ruskin. The subjects she teaches are algebra, geometry. busi- ness training, and junior high arithmetic. Between per- iods you usually see her directing traffic on the stairs be- tween the new and old buildings. Away from her pleasant school duties, she makes a pastime of walking and baking. Not only is she dean of girls and the patient dispenser of tardy passes, but she is also the interpreter of Silas Morner. Aspiring journalists ask her advice as members of the Log Staff. Away from the tasks of attendance and tardiness, she has on interest in old dishes.

The students in the seventh and eighth grades have her as their English teacher. She is the librarian in the iunior library, and the Junior Girl Reserves are under her leadership. Besides teaching English she enjoys read- ing cooking, and gardening, This year a new subiect was offered at Logan to be taught by a new teacher.
