SENIOR CLASS HISTORY We, the Seniors of 1958, began our high school da s in September 1955 Enrolled in our class and participating in the Gay Nineties 1 P ident iniation were Gary Kelllng, President, Jim Sheppard, V ce res , Edith Reese, Secretary and Treasurer, Betty Wallgren, Student Council Representative Phyllis Post, Dick Horn, Margaret Lutz, Larry Schick, Larry Ford, Susan Crow, B ll Palmer, Rosemary Demuth, Lucille Smith, Orin Crow, Sandra Leia, Ronald Iman, Janet Hard an, Darrel Griffin d Damewood Berye Reese, Kathy Hill, Raymond Baker, Dennis Krouse, Lu ene 1 Joyce Jakubowski, Joan Jakubowski and Ronnie McCue Mr and MPS C1-7d9 Morris were class sponsors As Sophmores, we had as class officers Rosemary Demuth, President, Darrel Griffin, Vice President, Betty Wallgrer, Secretary and Treasurer, Gary Kelling, Student Council Representative Our sponsors were Calvin Caniff and Lester Jilka We served the Junior Senior banquet dressed in costumes appropriate for the 'Mardi Gras' theme At last we were upperclassmen In our Junior year, we had Miss Elizabeth Gould and Calvin Canniff for sponsors Officers of the class were Darrell Griffin President, Berye Reese, Vice President, Rosemary Dick Horn and Gary Kelling from the class roll We presented the Junior play entitled 'The Crystal Balln or March h t to the Seniors of '57 for a Junior Senior Banquet and We were os prom on May 6 The theme was nFantasy1and with the Sophmores clad costumes coinciding with the theme In the fall of 1957, we at last began our Senior year We lost Sandra Legg Seltmann, Lucille Smith Smith, Bill Palmer and Margaret Lutz Petzold, but regained Dick Horn Class officers were Ronald Iman, President, Rosemary Demuth, Vice President, Kathy Hill, Secretary, Edith Reese, Treasurer, Larry Schick and Susan Crow Student Council Representatives Farrel McCauley and Miss Gwen Ring were class sponsors On Friday, September 13, we iniated the Freshmen by making them wear nursery rhyme costumes We pre ented our class play, 'Finders Creepers , on March 7 We are now looking forward to the Juni r S 1 B t d P Graduation am the sneak 0 en or anque an rom' The past four years at L H S have been happy ones, and we wish to thank our sponsors and teachers for all the help they have given us and wish them all the best of luck in the future I3 . y n of , I ' e . - o Demuth, Secretaryg Edith Reese, Treasurer.
