Lanz NWFP' L 4 'Pnan-9 -'D-l-nfs 'Flo-ne -- Sure-Nh Qnnoe fi 1 2 , Q 5 'tv' With the sounds of 'Green Freshmen' ringing in our ears, we en tered the doors of L H S in the fall of '52 For initiation, we dressed in the 1920 syyle of bathing beauties Garry Slansky and Judy Lafferty won the prize as the best dressed bathers Class officers were as follows President, Leland Schick, Vice president, Diana Laf- Yerty, Secretary,and Treasurer, Donna Reese, Student Council Repre sentative, Gary Foster Members of the class were Nancy Atkinson, Myron Becker, Vesta Forssberg, Gary Foster, Patsy Hill, Richard Hofak er, Ernest Hoch, Wesley Hoch, Larry Horn, Jerry Horn, Diana Lafferty Judy Lafferty, LaDon Lsppin, Mary Lynch, Gladys Meis, Norman Merklein, Harriet McCue, Lelland Moser, Robert Nevitt, Jerome Petzold, Donna Reese, Marilyn Reitzel, Becky Schick, Leland Schick, Garry Slansky, Merle Snyder, Tony Stanton, Kenny Wilkison, Mark Winters, and Dorothy Withington, with Miss Webber and Mr Beck as our sponsors In 'Sh we entered L H S as Sophomores, not yet upper classmen, but slowly nearing our goal We were asked to serve at tne Junior Senior banquet As the theme was 'Gay Paree' wewere dressed as French waitress and waiters, the girls in black and white and the boys in gayly colored smocks and berets This was also the year we enjoyed being in the 'Mikado ' The class officers were as follows President, Leland Schick, Vice president, Gary Fpster, Secretary and Treasurer, sponsors were Mr Cornwell and Mr Beck We lost Merle Snyder and Lelland Moser from the class At last we are upper classmen as we enter L H S as Juniors We found the Junior Senior banquet to be work as well as play as we pre sented the 'Mardi Gras' to the Seniors as the theme of our banquet We also had our first fling at dramatics when we presented 'Beauty and the Beef' as our Junior play The class officers were as follows President, Leland Schick, Vice president, Don Bliss, Secretary, Judy Lafferty,Treasurer, Donna Reese, Student Council Representative, Diana Lafferty Miss Gould and Mrs Dawson were our sponsors We were happy to gain Don Bliss as a member of the class although we lost Bob Nevitt and Larry Horn As we entered the doors of L H S in '56 we find at last we are Seniors Our membership remained the same as last year with the class officers as follows President, Leland Schick, Vice president, Don Bliss, Secretary, Judy Lafferty, Treasurer, Donna Reese, Student Council Representative, Diana Lafferty Mr Beck and Miss Landwehr were our sponsors We presented 'My Little Oscar' as our Senior play We are now looking forward to our sneak which will complete the last chapter in our history at L H S.
