Q fr 3, P- e J' - gf ' , . - ' ' A I ' 'f - A r A , .,, 'A' 'A .:?J1 Txfzf' t'f e,,.rxf IJ Class Drnphecg I, Ruth Lynch, chairman of the committee for the tenth reunion of the class of 1952, report the following information on the above class, Coletta Kemper, now residing in San Francisco, started her success ful career as a secretary and is now vice president of the Martin In terior Decorating Co Waldean Miller has never ceased to brag about how he got his di ploma by golng to school only occasionally He owns a successful dairy, and it is hiw job to keep Logan youngsters healthy by feeding them nJer sey Bounce milk We haven't seen much of Margaret McGuire as she is kept pretty busy following Buzzie around from camp to camp Roberta uChuckn Ashley is head cashler m:Carnegie Hall in New York She spends most of her spare time at the baseball games and is a great fan of the Yanks Mrs George Ruff, formerly Joan Kelllng, is living in Denver, Colo redo Her life dream has come true because she has George and a porce lain house Dave Redinger's greatest deslre has core true, also He is a great outfielder for the New York Yanks He is known as the second Joe Di Maggie The Yanks are still winning the World series once every year One of the socialites of Logan is our own Shirley Gibson, who is our local banker's wife She is actlve in all ol tke clubs and is presi Lee Ann Davis, still full of the old vim, vitality, and vigor, is owner of the Davis Golden Glow Ranch She gave up her career as an air line hostess for a ranch and her handsome husband Billy Bob Crow, better known as old W R by his many employees and Dad to his five redheaded sons is owner of the Crow Construction Com pany, formerly known as the Hansen Construction Company He can still be persuaded occasionall to bring out his cornet and play a few old band favorites, such as Kom Susser Tod n Carolyn Fenton is also a leading socialite of Logan Although she is kept quite busy raising her five redheaded sons, she still has time to take actlve part in clubs and church work Catherine Richardson is an old maid schoolteacher It doesn't sur prise me at all that she decided to become a commercial teacher, for she was the most industrious student in our class She is one of the most active members of the ladies' Hit 'em or Miss'em Basketball team Don Blew still has not lost that famous gift of gab' and can be found as a barker at the circus in front of the tent containing the smallest cow in the world Janice Kelling is known as the gay divorcee in many glamorxus New York society circles Through hard work and perserverance she managed to become one of the nat1on's most popular television and screen stars She has her own television show called nThe Big Show H One of the most prominent men in Hollywood is our own, Doyle Fox, wko is a press agent and husband of the popular hillbilly acress Hill billy Annie from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Tennessee The most quiet member of our class, Lee Baker, has lived the life of a secluded splnster ever since her unrappy love affair with a certain ll - dent of the nBusy Fingers and Fancy Doer's Club.n A X 1' I farm boy from Densmore Her most lmportant pastime is writing to the lovelorn columns Tommy Young has not been hooked yet and is known as the most popu lar bachelor in Phillips County, e pecially at Kirwin Ton also owns and operates Logan's most popular nlahtclub, The Walk In Wobble Out Chdl Gven Warren decided to trade her successful career as a concert pianist for that of housewife on a farm near Damar She seems to be happy about her trade and says th t her husband and twin daughters take LW most of her time Douglas Stanton, a most adept student in journalism, is now editor and owner of The Logan Democrat' and has recently published a book 'With Benevolence Towards All Negroes He has, at least, one admirer, his blond wife who still can be found dzthe Polar Bar polishing glasses And I, Ruth Lynch, have given up my career as a nurse for that of keeping house on a farm near Logan Class EISTUYQ Green Freshmen That was the term applied to us in the fall of 19MB when the class entered the doors of L H S for our first year Like all freshmen, we went through the routine of initiation and liked Our class sponsor was Mr Hall The class consisted of six boys and eleven girls They were as follows Roberta Ashley, Lee Baker, Billy Crow, Lee Ann Davis, Pat Davis, Doyle Fox, Janice Kelling, Joan Kelling, Coletta Kemper, Ruth Lynch, Margaret McGuire, Waldean Miller, Dave Redinger, Catherine Richardson, Douglas Stanton, Gwendolyn Warren, and Tommy Young Fortunately, we kept all of these members in our class during our first year underclassmen Two members came into our class They were Don Blew and Shlrley Gibson, making a total of seven boys and twelve girls We were asked to serve the Junior senior banquet, dressed as little children Mr Rolfs w s the class sponsor September, 1950 found us startlng as Juniors All of those who started as freshmen were still in the class We added Roy Voss to the list There were more members in the class during our junior year than any other There were eight boys and twelve girls The class was be ginning to realize its importance in the school We were very active in athletics, band, vocal music, and forensic meets 'Bolts and Nuts w s presented as the junior class play Our theme for the junlor senior banquet was A Rock Garden, which was very out standing in its slmplicity and effectlveness Our sponsor was Mr Bul lock At long last, we, that class of green freshmen, are seniors The class lost Roy Voss who dropped out to attend school at Hill City, Kan sas, and Pat Davis who moved to Stockton, Kansas We were happy to add Carolyn Fenton to the cla s, making tzagain twelve girls and seven boys This, we realize, was the best of our school days Two plays were presented, 'Margie and the Wolf man and nLook Out Lizzy W Both Plays were very good Our sponsor was mr Veatch Other high lights of the year besides the plays were the junior senior banquet and the alumni banquet At the time of this wrlting, we are looking forward to the com mencement exercises and the senior sneak Also we are still working to make this one of the best classes to leave Logan High School and one that will long be remembered when we are gone from its halls O U . 1 U S . . 1 ' Q ' . . . .
