JUNIORQ awNoLoungw Last year's green Sophomores matured into serious and responsible Juniors. They first elected their fine, likeable officers and beauty attendants to the various queens. Their play in January was a smash hit. Two Juniors then won top awards in CI countywide essay contest concerning the handicapped. Next the Juniors chose two delegates to represent them at Know Your State Government Day in Charleston. In the spring, they worked like beavers on the prom, by getting out of study hall and staying after school proving their capabilities. One Junior was elected band queen. The Juniors also elected officers for the Junior Honor Roll Club and helped usher at graduation. They now look forward to next year with a glow in their eyes and hope in their hearts. The cast was directed by Mrs. Thelma Juergensmeyer. MmbezuofftleiwszhvwWMmm The glee club is composed of a girls chorus and a mixed chorus under the direction of Mrs. Jeurgensmeyer. They learn to sing the most difficult compositions. Both groups give their time and talent providing the school and community with the best of music operettas in the spring. They also sing for churches, clubs outside of school, and other organizations. All of them combine their voices to present vocal music of a high quality. Each year an aII-stote chorus is selected to represent Logan High.
