Student Senate Initiates New Amendments Under the direction of Larry Haslam, the Student Senate meets everyday during first hour. Through their hard work, an amendment has been passed that if students are caught smoking on school grounds, a ticket will be issued. A bill has also been passed on stricter conduct during assemblies. During this time they also go over the school constitution and any upcoming activities. Homecoming, assemblies, winter carnival, and spirit week are just a few of the activities planned by the Student Senate. Amazed at the new ideas of the Senate. Larry doesn’t know what to think. Objection to question is now in motion,” states Steve Jones enthusiastically. As the senior class officers think of new activities, it’s obvious that Barbara Lutz’s mind is somewhere else Scon Cheney tries to persuade the srudenbody officers with his bizarre ideas 16 Student Senate

School Board Appraises District’s Finished Product As superintendent of the Logan School District, I have a keen interest in the quality of our school district’s finished product — the graduates of Logan High School. It is my belief our quality control has been excellent. Your attitude and behavior have been outstanding. Your accomplishments have been superb. Your impressive spirit and zest for life have made our community a more enjoyable place to live. I hope your years ahead will be marked with an urgency to meet your full potential.
