Does Math really mystify students? With the aid of calculators and good teachers, math students tried all year long to understand mathematical mysteries. Rudy Puzey Kent Soderquist Industrial Arts Art Along with teaching typing, shorthand, accounting, cooperative office education, distributive education, and business machines, the business department has put an added emphasis on the free enterprise system. As a result of this, the distributive education classes, under the direction Mrs. Hall, have remodeled the school store where students can actively participate in the free enterprise system. Industrial art students experienced several activities; including, constructing a house, assembling radios, and repairing automobiles. The capable staff provided practical experience, industry involvement, and on-the-job training. She thinks that's a good caption, wonders Peggy Christensen. Faculty 23

Robert Tripp. Joyce Copp IMC Myra Lynch ALC Cooking, sewing, bachelor arts, and child development are just a few of the many classes offered by the Home Economics Department. ROTC helps students take part in Military Training without having to pursue a career in it. It helps students to become more concerned and loyal students. Our Physical Education staff headed by Coach Bill Ryan, works hard to give a wide variety of classes. Quarter classes offer a large selection of activities with something to please almost everybody. Raquetball, gymnastics, golf, and modern dance were a few of the favorites. This was our first year in the new Recreation Complex. Its great facilities made P.E. fun for students and teachers.
