English Department starts new program As well as keeping up with a wide variety of quarter class offerings and providing a new program, the English Department keeps busy. The new program started to prepare for 1980 when all graduating seniors must pass competency tests. These tests are given to junior students. Those who do not pass the test are required to take the new Basic Skills class. This new offering should be a great help to those who must take the tests for graduation. A one, a two, a one, two, three, four Steven Goodman Eugene Tueller Music — Orchestra Music — Vocal Chauntaires, stage band, orchestra, and Crimson Colony are just a few of the classes offered by the Music Department. Under the capable direction of Eugene Tueller, Steve Call, and Steve Goodman, the Music Department was able to keep the magic of music flowing throughout the year.
