English Department starts new program As well as keeping up with a wide variety of quarter class offerings and providing a new program, the English Department keeps busy. The new program started to prepare for 1980 when all graduating seniors must pass competency tests. These tests are given to junior students. Those who do not pass the test are required to take the new Basic Skills class. This new offering should be a great help to those who must take the tests for graduation.
