Due to popular demand, the Home Economics Department added more foods classes to their schedules and taught more co-ed sections of bachelor arts-homcliv-ing. The students in Child Development class had the unique experience of running a nursery school for eight weeks. Surprisingly enough, both teachers noted the large amount of boys in this formerly female field! A major change happened in the PE department this year due to Title IX. All the classes went to coed, with the exception of the 6th hour athletics classes. With a goal of keeping youthful bodies fit, the qualified teachers combined their efforts to teach from archery to ping-pong. The department has also been expanded to include a gymnastics team. Col.
