The extensive Social Studies Department of ms offers many subjects which students are required to take and elective classes which fulfill the desires and needs of students who are interested in subjects ranqinq from American History to Psycholoqy. Students involved in this department obtain qood learninq experiences from opportunities such as. visitinq the Mental Hospital in Provo, the mortuary, or the district court. Special features include seeinq movies like kittle Bin Man or The Three Faces of Eve. and listeninq to the stale” jokes thrown out by various teachers. How could the Social Studies Department help but be qreat with a head like Larry Haslam? Mr. Brunson I spell relief R 0 L A I D S. Exciting new developments have come about in the Home Ec. Department. One of these is a class called Bachelor and the Single Girl. This exciting step designed for senior girls and guys concerns family life and parenthood preparation. Another new program lets the girls taking the class explore careers in child development.
