What in the world is going on? It is the Sports class—just one of the many different types of classes of the Physical Education Department. The teachers did a fine job of keeping their classes in shape. MRS. JEAN EHRHART Home Economics MRS. JEAN MILLER Home Economics home economics Delicious odors filtering through the halls, two new vocational classes, and the addition of a new teacher, Mrs. Erhart, distinguished the Home Economics Department this year. Business Students in the Business Department found numerous opportunities to learn and perfect skilIs. Type students attempted to develop speed and accuracy. Co-operative Office Education, a new class this year, helped students get used to an office situation. MRS. REBECCA BOSWELL Business Education MRS. DIANNE HALL Business Education MRS. ALENE HANSEN Business Education Its a bird, its a plane, NO, its an eraser. As I remember, that should be on the left. The right?? ARt The Art Department offered classes from sculpture to macrame. Under the direction of Mr. Soderquist, students designed many artistic MR KENT SODERQU|ST Da Vinci, Pure Da Vinci indUStRIAl ARtS The Industrial Arts Department offered classes in industrial crafts and basic electronics. Greasy hands showed the work done in auto mechanics as boys learned the basic function of the car. Roaring engines proved the boys learned their lessons well. MR. JACK ANDERSON Auto Mechanics MR. counselors The counselors at Logan High proved their value to the students many times this year. They kept them informed of different activities and helped them with countless class changes and other such problems. The students greatly appreciated the hours of assistance. MR. LYNN POULSEN Counselor MRS. RHEA WALLENTINE Counselor A small number of individuals, not readily remembered when speaking of those who served in school services, kept the school functioning by hard work and effort. The number of different matters given to the office secretaries each day last year included many difficult tasks, yet they expertly attended to every one.
