When God measures a man he does not seek for size of hat, or gold of purse, or titles attached to one's name. He looks for heart marks left there for acts of service, And when He finds the heart is big and the scars are many, He lTlL1sI say, Here is a man! You, Mr. T. Howard Willmore, are everything Logan High School can show in its finest display. Your never-failing devotion to our physical comforts, your willingness to help us with some kindly deed, and your daily, and very often after hours, efforts to make our school and campus inviting have merited praise and admiration from class after class of Logan graduates, You came to this campus before it was Logan High School. This was fifty-five years ago, 1904 to be exact. You stayed until 1912, then left to return again in l9l8, This campus be- came your home, and you have become a part of it. You watched the Crimson and Gold of a college replaced, in 1926, by the Maroon and White, and then you thrilled again with Crimson Field and the return of its former colors. You could unfold a saga of our school that from yearto year would be replete with names, and places, and events, and joys, and perhaps some sorrows, too. You watched your own five sons enroll and graduate. To the faculty you have been indispensable. Yours is a histor f of minutes, and hours, and days, and months, and years, and while our i , 1 1 lease on our school will soon expire, it can never become permanent. You are too much of usg you are stamped indelibly in our lives, you hold the keys for all that Logan High School loves. In dedicating this Amphion to you we sincerely wish that each page will bring back an event in which you played a part, Our praises, our thoughts, our wishes go out to you. They served as friends and guides as well as instructors to Logan High students. They showed the way, and then led the youth of LHS along the path to knowledge, understanding, and the development of the mind. The red tape involved in operating a school was taken care of by a competent student staff who assisted the secretary. They willingly donated their time to Logan High. The cooks, nurses, and custodians were indispensable in the maintenance of the school.
