National Honor Society The National Honor Society is an organization which recognizes students for their involvement in activities in school and throughout the community as well as for their academic excellence. Although, in years past the in- duction of members into the Logan Chapter of the National HonoiJl Society has been at the end of the school year, the induction of newt members for the 1981-82 school year took place at the beginning of the second semester. Each year, members of the year- book or Aerial staff work throughout the school year to com- pile a book of that year's student body, and their extracurricular and co-curricular activities. The 1980-81 Aerial staff was no excep- tion; they worked to make their yearbook one of the best in the history of Logan High School. Many hours were spent trying to organize the yearbook. The cover, done by Carl, Kathy and Rena York, was a culmination of ideas from all staff members and each section; as individual as it may seem, was just a part of a larger collaboration, the 1980-81 Aerial. Each section, page and story in the 1980-81 Aerial was treated with special care, each, the most im- portant and vital part of the yearbook. The purpose of the 1980-81 yearbook was to ac- curately recall the events at L.H.S.. for the school year, and to do this effectively, each staff member had to realize the im- portance of relaying stories accurately. There were 22 members on the 1980-81 Aerial staff. The members were students in grades nine through twelve, because of this and the fact that all of the staff members had dif- ferent interests, the 1980-81 Aerial staff was able to put out a more thorough and diversified yearbook.
