Friday evening, at the Logan- Waverly basketball game in the LHS auditorium was the climax of a long week of voting and anticipa- tion by eleven lucky girls and the entire student body. The balloting began Monday in homeroom when senior nominated the girl of their Liz Gloyd Crowned Queen After the eleven nominees were chosen, the senior class members were given the opportunity to cast their votes. When these votes were tabulated five nervous girls re- mained. They were Julie LindsayF j l£lizabeth Gloyd.
