Superintendent’s Message To the Members of the Class of 1970: On behalf of the members of the Board of Education, the Staff, and student body of Logan City School District, it is a pleasure to congratulate you on your successful completion of the course of study required for graduation. It is our sincere hope that you have tak- en advantage of the educational oppor- tunities made available to you during the past twelve years as we attempted to assist you in attaining the knowledge necessary to achieve your individual potentials. Today, when the acquisition of knowl- edge is a necessity, we hope that you have prepared yourself in such a way that you will be able to assume your rightful place in our democratic society. Whether you plan to continue your education in a col- lege or a technical school, become gain- fully employed, or assume the responsi- bilities of homemaking, we urge you to approach your undertakings with a posi- tive attitude, for if you are determined to be successful, you shall be. Learning is a life-long process—and it should be. Never stop growing—always strive toward greater heights than you believe are possible to attain. Through perseverance and determination you can achieve your goals. May God grant you good health and continued success in all of your endeavors. George M. Saribalas 8
