Under the guidance of Robert Petty, the choir has been favored with another successful year. A I at State Contest and a student teacher have made the 1966 67 school year a rewarding experience for all involved.

This year the bands under the direction of Mr. Robert Petty have both met with many successful experiences. The marching band performed at every home football game, adding lively color to each show. The concert band worked diligently for excellence in all musical respects, and achieved it in most. 1966-67 has been a year to remember to all those involved in the music department. This year the Ensembles have accomplished much. The two groups have made appearances on local television pro- grams. ln addition to their other achievements, the boys' made an album on which they sing many well-known songs. Both of the ensembles highlighted the year by receiving l's at State Contest. Everyone at LE is very proud of these two groups and we all wish them much success in the future.
