School Daze The special times are in our hearts forever. Togeth- er we’ve built memories that will last forever. From “clowning around” in homeroom and being with friends to celebrating a teacher's birthday — our memories live on. We've shared some of the greatest times in our lives but it wasn’t all play. From welding in Ag Mechanics and writing computer programs to cooking in Home Ec., we've taken part in almost everything — classwork, homework, studying, smil- ing, laughing, sharing — it's all a part of our daily life at LCHS. 3

School Days — School Ways With around 900 students attending LCHS the 1985-1986 school year started with a bang! Students got back into the trend of finding new classes, having new teachers, meeting new people and making new friends. Leading high school days and following high school ways were shocking to some new students. Back to school traditions like the annual fight for top lockers . . . then the competitive art of decorating them uniquely or the mad shuffle to change schedules be- gan the daze of our school year. Being different but being yourself is definitely the motto for COUGAR life. We’ve spent precious moments talking in the halls between classes, gossiping with friends, catching the bus or trying to find a ride home. We’ll always cherish our high school days . . . cutting through the court- yard, running to class, rushing to homeroom. Togeth- er we have built our memories . . . working . . trying . . . striving . . . living . . . loving . . . it's all a part of our daily life at LCHS. 2
