I 1 562916 A I Ender A graduate of the Un1vers1ty of North Carollna Lleutenant Commander Bader recelved h1s oom m1ss1on through the NROTC program 1n 1955 H1s flrst tour of duty from June 1955 unt1l June 1957 was aboard the USS LCESER QDE 6803 where he served as CIC Communlcatlons and Operatlons Offloer From 1957 unt1l June 1959 Mr Bader served as an mstruotor 1n the Forelgn Language Depart ment at the U S Naval Academy In June 1959 he reported aboard the USS FCRT SNELLING QLSD 303 as Ops and later Englneerlng Offloer In August of 1961 the XO entered Naval Intell1 gence School 1n Washlngton D C as a student In July 1962 he began a tour as the Assls tant Naval Attache U S Embassy 1n Ottawa Canada From here he Went to the USS VAN COUVER QLPD 25 for a year and a half as Operatlons Offloer before beglnnmg h1s tour on the LOFBERG LCDR Bader 1S a natlve of Lou1sv1lle Ken tucky He 1S marrled and has four daughters all res1d1ng 1n San D1ego U16 Q50 X 9-, .9 -fl fi, ,Iii - ?i .
