SUBIC BAY, P.I. A Week of much-needed upkeep in Subic Bay was an essential pre-requisite for the unexpected impending operations. Subic houses the largest U.S. Naval installation in the Philippine Islands and is located in the southern part of Luzon less than one hundred miles from Manila.
