As the school year of 1947-48 ends, many o senior will look bock upon some of the activities which were included in this year's pro- gram. The class election was held in early October, with the first class meeting being held in November. The colendar for class events wos drawn up at the meeting. Also, Betty Jeon Colvin was elected to attend the Stote Convention sponsored by the Legion Women's Auxiliary. This year's Senior Ploy was held in April and was pro- claimed a huge success by everyone attending. The traditional Junior- Senior Prom wos held in May with the Seniors being guests of the Junior Class. A large crowd attended, and it was one of the best Proms ever. Next came the Senior Banquet in May with all of the Seniors attending. Probably the outstanding event of each year is Ditch Day whereby the Seniors ore allowed to ditch legally. It was held in Sacramento with swimming, golf, and other games being tlie occasion. The Baccalaureate services were held in the High School Auditorium June 6. Then came the day every Senior looked forward .to for twelve long yeors. Graduation exercises were held in the Grope Bowl on June 10. This ended the year for all of the Seniors. Although we were all glad that high school was over for us, we also hod seme desire to do it all over ogam. We still think Lodi High is tops. RAYMOND MOSER m CoC .
